HOW I CAN HELP

Every body's different. Every story's different. Which means every session looks a little different too.

Rather than fitting you into a set protocol, I work with whatever you bring in, your body, your history, your nervous system, your day. Sometimes that's a straightforward osteo treatment. Sometimes it's more.

I don't think of osteopathy, Reiki and breathwork as separate services stacked on top of each other. They're different tools for the same job, all helping your body build the resilience and adaptability it needs to handle whatever life throws at it, not just get through it.

Not sure where to start?

  • Book an Osteopathy session as a good first step - it's a great way for us to get to know each other, and we can figure out where to go from there together.

  • Prefer to chat first? Give me a call.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is hands-on healthcare that supports your body's own ability to heal. I don't just treat symptoms, I look at how your whole body's working together, so treatment isn't just about where it hurts. If you're dealing with pain, an injury, or just not feeling quite right, osteopathy helps uncover what's actually driving it and restores natural movement and function. Using techniques like stretching, soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and visceral treatment (working with your organs and the surrounding tissue), I work to ease tension, improve alignment, and support your nervous system along the way. It's suitable for pretty much anyone — newborns and kids through to adults and older folks. I look at how your structure and function are connected, so treatment isn't just about where it hurts — old injuries, poor posture, movement patterns you've stopped noticing, even how well your organs are moving and functioning, all play a part. For example; If your lower back's tight, that might have a lot to do with how you're breathing, sleeping, sitting, or moving through your week. I'll work with what's actually going on, not just the loudest symptom. Clients often come to me for things like: - Back and neck pain - Headaches and migraines - Joint or muscle discomfort - Postural strain from work or parenting - Pregnancy-related changes - That general "stuck" or out-of-balance feeling. My approach is grounded in science, but guided by actually listening. Osteopaths complete five years of university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology and manual therapy, and I'm registered with AHPRA - so you're in safe, qualified hands. But beyond the qualifications, what matters most to me is how I listen to your story and tailor each session to your body and your life, not a generic protocol. I believe in whole-person care, looking at the physical alongside the emotional and lifestyle factors that impact your health, because you're more than a body part or a diagnosis.

Functional Breath Training

We take around 25,000 breaths a day, and most of us aren't doing it as efficiently as we could be. When your breathing mechanics are off, your body ends up working harder than it needs to, which shows up as fatigue, compensation patterns, tight muscles, postural changes, and eventually pain. Think of this as osteo breathing - it's the perfect bridge between structure and function. We work on the fundamentals of proper breathing technique, starting with your diaphragm and building toward full, 360-degree rib cage motion. It's less about nervous system regulation (that's what Reiki and breathwork are for) and more about anatomy and mechanics - how well your spine, ribs and diaphragm are actually moving. I'll assess your current breathing capacity and habits, then work through a combination of hands-on osteopathic treatment and movement exercises to improve that rib cage motion and ease the load on the smaller accessory muscles that tend to overwork when breathing mechanics break down.

Good for:

Postural strain, chronic neck/jaw/shoulder/back/pelvic tension, breathlessness or a sense you can't get a satisfying breath, or if manual therapy alone hasn't fully resolved your symptoms.

PRICES:

Assessment, guided exercises, home exercise plan, 60 min - $160

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese healing practice that supports balance across every part of you - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It works by helping your body's natural energy flow more freely, so you can reconnect with a sense of clarity, groundedness and inner harmony. It's been around since the early 1920s in Japan, and it's accessible to pretty much everyone, regardless of age or where you're currently at with your health. Reiki works by gently activating your parasympathetic nervous system, your body's "rest and digest" mode, where real recovery and restoration happen. In that state, your heart rate slows, your breath softens, and your body gets the chance to actually release tension and stress rather than just push through it. Rather than chasing one specific symptom, Reiki invites your whole system into balance, letting healing unfold wherever it's needed most. A lot of people feel warmth, peace or deep relaxation during a session, often finding relief from anxiety, pain or overwhelm. This isn't just about "fixing" anything directly, it's about giving your body the space it needs to properly rest, which is what builds real resilience over time. With regular sessions, that rest-and-recover capacity tends to stick, supporting lasting shifts in how you handle stress and life more broadly, not just how calm you feel in the moment.

Good for:

Stress, overwhelm, feeling wired-but-tired, or wanting a slower, quieter kind of session.

PRICES:

Reiki session, 60 min - $120

NB// These sessions are generally not covered by private health.

Breathwork

(Flow-based & Conscious Connected Breathwork - for functional breath training, see above) Using your breath as a direct access into your nervous system - building one that's resilient and adaptable, not just "calm." A healthy nervous system can respond and adapt appropriately to life's challenges and recover efficiently afterwards. I draw on a couple of different styles here depending on what you're after. Flow-based breathwork; moves with a bit more rhythm and ease. It's a great way to train your nervous system to up-regulate and down-regulate quickly, essentially building your capacity to handle the ups and downs of life, not just relax through them. A good option if you want to work with your breath without diving into the deeper end. Conscious connected breathwork (CCB); is a longer, more immersive session using a continuous circular breathing pattern (no pause between inhale and exhale). It's a powerful tool for processing and releasing stored stress, tension and emotion, often held in the body long after the original moment has passed. Sessions can bring up physical or emotional release along the way, held in a safe, supported space, and always finish with time to settle and integrate before you head back out into your day. CCB isn't currently bookable online, if this is the one calling to you, reach out directly and we'll find a time that suits.

Good for:

Nervous system overwhelm, burnout, feeling disconnected from your body, or wanting tools you can keep using outside of sessions.

PRICES:

BreathFLOW, 60 min - $140

Conscious Connected Breathwork, 120 min, $240

NB// These sessions are generally not covered by private health.

ORB Session — the full experience

A blend of osteopathy, Reiki and breathwork, shaped around whatever you need on the day. Think of it as the chef's selection — you don't need to walk in knowing exactly what you need. We'll figure that out together, and the session moves between hands-on treatment, energy work and breath depending on what your body's asking for. This is the closest thing to the full "whole person" experience in one sitting.

Good for:

When you want to properly slow down, or when you're not sure which single modality fits, or when you just want the full offering.

PRICES:

ORB combination session, 90 min - $240

NB// These sessions may be covered by private health depending on the amount of Osteopathy involved on the day.

What it actually looks like

This isn't a five-minutes-in-and-out kind of place.

The experience starts before you even lie down on the table - the drive over, walking in, taking a breath and realising there's nowhere else you need to be for the next while.

Your first Osteopathy appointment

You'll come in through the street entrance and head upstairs. On the right, there's a couch and a small reception desk. Take a seat and get comfortable, and I'll come out and get you when I'm ready. If it's your first time, I'll usually have sent through a new patient form to fill in online before you arrive. Didn't get to it? No stress - there'll be a clipboard with the form waiting for you. In the clinic room we start seated, not straight on the table. I'll ask what's brought you in, what you're hoping to get out of the session, and a bit about your medical history - what's led up to this point, whether that's a long story or a short one. It all helps me join the dots. From there, depending on what you're in for, we move into assessment. I'll get you up and moving through a few simple movements to check for differences side to side, or anything that reproduces the pain, and I might do a few orthopedic tests too - these help me work out whether we're dealing with a nerve, a joint, a muscle, or something else. I'll talk you through what I'm noticing in your posture and movement as we go, so you're never left wondering. Then it's onto the table for the hands-on part. Usually a mix of massage, ligament balance and some resisted movements, depending on what your body needs. I'll check in for feedback the whole way through, so if anything feels uncomfortable or irritating, just say the word and we'll change technique. There's usually a chat and a laugh in there too. Before you head off, I'll show you a few stretches or movements and some tips for managing things at home, then we'll either book you in for a follow up or send you on your way. No two sessions look quite the same - some days there's plenty to talk through, other days we go straight into treatment, gentle or firm depending on what your body needs that day. Either way, it's a two-way conversation the whole way through. You don't need the right words for what's going on, and you definitely don't need it all figured out before you walk in. My hope is that you leave feeling a little lighter, a little clearer, and a little more like yourself than when you arrived.
