FAQ

The Answers You Need

HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?

Session prices vary depending on location and type of service. The correct price will be displayed next to the appointment type on the booking page.

IS OSTEO COVERED BY PRIVATE HEALTH?

Check with your health fund if you're covered for Osteo as not all funds cover the same.
I can provide an invoice for you to claim your private health rebate online.

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR?

Wear something comfortable that you can move around easily in; a singlet/T-shirt and shorts/leggings are easy.
Depending on the area of the body being examined you may be asked to partially undress, sometimes down to underwear/bra (in this case a towel will be used to cover non treatment areas at all times), so please consider this when preparing for your appointment.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE AN OSTEO?

No you don't. As Osteopaths are primary health practitioners, a referral is not required.
In some cases we may recommend you see the GP for a referral under the medicare EPC program.
